    A wonderful creative time was captured at Satori records Mount Maunganui over a 3 month period. Late 2007 to early 2008. What started out as a fun experiment turned into a fat roots / rock blend of tunes available as a DigiPak through this web site. Spending time experimenting with quality mics and pre amps the tunes were then tracked through a stereo interface. The drum tracks are recorded with one mic nestled in the kit and one mic in the Kick drum. Then the bass, guitars, vocals and finishing touches were laid down. All of this happened pretty quick for the tunes with a lot of the first passes used in the final cuts.
